Green Thinking's LaZer2 domestic solar hot water system has been specifically designed to provide households with the majority of their hot water throughout the year. The panels work as your primary heat source and your existing boiler or stove just tops up the water temperature when necessary. On sunny days the water in your cylinder can easily reach 70-80°C, so the boiler will not be used. On heavily overcast days, the water may only be 35°C (not quite bath temperature), so the boiler will run for a short time to raise the water to right temperature. Installation

LaZer2 is a modular system designed for easy installation. Our low-profile panels clip into a unique roof-mounting system that does not require the removal of any roof tiles, and keeps all pipe-work hidden from view. Our own, fully trained installers usually take a day or 2 to have your system fully fitted and tested.

Maintenance

The self-regulating system means that once installed and activated you should not need to do anything. In the unlikely event of a problem, the easy to read LCD display on the control unit will warn you, so you can fix the problem yourself or call one of our engineers for assistance.

The panels themselves are made from an extra smooth glass that is self-cleaning. Dirt or dust is easily washed off by dew and rain so there should be no need for you to have to get the ladder out!

Life Expectancy

The LaZer2 system has been designed and manufactured in the UK to the highest European standard (EN12975–1) using specialist computer monitoring and CAD systems, and a custom built testing facility. By eliminating all glass to metal seals, we have not only increased efficiency, but also the life of the panel. As such, you can expect the LaZer2 system to provide you with more than 25 years of free energy.

Guarantee

The LaZer2 solar panel used in all of our solar hot water systems incorporates the ‘all-glass’ LaZer2 vacuum tubes. The LaZer2 vacuum tubes have no glass-metal seals, so there is no risk of of a tube losing its vacuum. We are so confident in the foolproof design of our LaZer2 solar panels that should any of the tubes lose their vacuum during normal operation in the first 25-years of use we will replace them free of charge!
